This interactive installation theme on the TV series United States of Tara was conceptualized with Daniel Perlin. Computer vision technology makes it possible to become Tara and experience the confusion and dissociation she feels when her alters take over. When visitors look into Tara’s digital mirror, their facial contours are captured by a camera and digitally tracked so when they move around the exoskeleton, Tara follows them in spectre-like fashion, switching between alters as she moves.
